China glass industry has performed ahead of expectation in fields of output and profit in 2017. In the second half of 2017, flat glass manufacturers have witnessed a rising product price and a roaring business profit. The total output of flat glass industry in the first 11 months of the year 2017 is 730.65 million weight cases with a 3.9% rise compared with the same period last year, a data released from National Statistics Bureau(NSB), the gross output of flat glass industry is expected to achieve 800 million weight cases for 2017, up 3.36% compared to 2016 with a profit reached around RMB 10 billion. Chinese glass industry has entered a new stage of the supply-side structural reform, cutting overcapacity, shoring up weak spots, Adjusting Structure, ensuring growth and increasing benefits on 2017. Driven by industry innovation and new technology, new equipments, new products and new looks created by large enterprises, China glass industry is refreshing in development and industry upgrade.
